This is almost transparent, that I found floating in the current. I can't see the base of it.
Any ideas?

Someone has mentioned that it could be the 'beginnings of a jellyfish', since I have hydroids in the tank.
What do you think?

I have received some interesting info on this. It's worth reading.
Our tanks and inhabitants can be very dangerous.

WOW, never thought anything like that could end up in a tank especally something irukandji. I read that jellyfish cannot live in rectangular aquariums because they would need a round aquarium

Scary!
I was in Sydney, Manley beach, jellyfish all over the beach and in the water - Man Of War type -- They call them Blue Bottles. Announcements over a loud speaker, signs "Blue Bottles in the Water." IT DIDN'T STOP ANYONE FROM GOING IN THE WATER. TOPLESS AND HAPPY, SWIMMING AROUND.
I sat on the beach and just oogled... LOL. No way I'm going in the the water. It was an experience.
