Super glue and silicone?

How do you know if super glue or silicone is reef safe?

If I remember right some silicones have mold inhibitors, that's not reef safe. Look for GE Silicone I.
I buy the cheapest "super glue" the store has and it's never caused a problem.

I have used many different kinds of Super Glue Gel and havent had any problems. As for silicone I just use the stuff made for aquariums that you can pick up at your LFS. It might cost a little more but no worrys.

For silicone you can also look for GE Silicone 1, its for doors and windows and doesn't have the mildew inhibitor.
