Right now my setup is:
1. Lights
2. Lights
3. Pump
4. Pump
5. Heater
6. Chiller
7. Other device
8. Other device
This is the order of my icons on the display screen which is how it came from the factory. Since #4 wont do the soft start I was hoping to switch it with #7. I would like to put one of my pumps on #7 and probably my CO2 reactor on #4. How can I switch this?
Thanks

In order to switch 2 timers you would edit the timer names and change the address. Once that is changed you can move the plugs. You do not need to modify the program. It will change the order of the status icons on the AC3 display.
It is easiest (IMHO) to make this change using the web interface (rather than the AC3 buttons) because you can make the change in 1 operation, exchanging the address of 1 timer with another.
Does this make sense?

I have an AC Jr. not an AC 3.
Plus I dont have the software for it.

OK, same procedure you just need to edit the timer addresses using the AC menu.
Use the keypad, Setup, Timer Setup, Timer Names, Modify Name. Find the 1st timer and change, then do the same for the second timer.
If you need help navigating the menu let me know.

How is this done?
1) Press "Select" button on AC Jr (the display will change to "Run")
2) Press "Up" (or "Down") until the display reads "Setup", press "Select". The screen should read "Timer Setup"
3) Press "Select" and display will read "Timer Names"
4) Press "Select" and display will read "Modify Name"
5) Press "Select" and you should see the 1st timer (LT1 if you are using default program).
6) Press "Up" (or "Down") until the display reads "PM2" (which should be A04 (the one you want to move). Press "Select" will place that timer into an edit mode and you will see a little cursor under the 1st letter of the name.
7) Press "Select" 5 times, you should see the cursor move over each letter in the name, then the icon, the address letter ("A") and stop on the "0" in "04". Use "Up" key to change this to A07 and hit "Select" to commit the changes.
8) Repeat steps 6 for the timer with the address of A07, which would be CO2 if you are using default program and change the A07 to be A04. You don't want 2 timers at the same address.
9) Press "Up" (or "Down") until the display reads "Exit/Cancel", "Exit" or "Run" and press "Select".
10) Repeat step 9 (after pressing "Select" for "Run" the display will return to the top level display).
11) Move the plugs and you are finished.
