Hi all,

I had a quick lighting question. I have a twin 40 watt shop light over some plants and mini-aquariums on a table. Yesterday, I noticed that when I bumped the light's cord, it flickered. I soon saw that the plug was just loose in the receptical. I've had this problem before with other appliances - and so I removed the plug and bent the prongs together to make them seat in the socket tighter - Whups! I got a decent shock. Not full house current and not the high tension shock you sometimes get from these lights. The unit was obviously unplugged and no other electrical devices are near it. Do shop lights have capacitors in them? I know not to reach into a radio or T.V. without discharging the caps, but I never knew that about these lights......ideas?
