just started a refugium in my 75g reef set up, have deep sand bed with cheato in it, running it on a reverse photo period. all seems well cheato growing well ph has risen to 8.2 and alot more stable, but my alkalinity has gone from about 10.5dkh to 13.3 without my normal 2part addatives. stopped dosing for now and am waiting to see if it drops. have mostly softies and two monti frags that seem fine. will this come back or how can i get back to normal parameters

You're on the right track. Stop dosing and let the ALK fall on its own. Whats the CA level at?

You could raise the CA level a little, I think your fine...let the alk fall back down and then resume balanced dosing.

this will come back down on its own as long as you are not dosing anything else.
an alk of 13.3 will not affect your corals
