Kelvin Rating

I have a friend I'm building a canopy for and she has a couple of clams and is trying to decide which rating to get for her bulbs. The tank is a 75 gallon w/ 4 110W VHO's (2) 50/50 & (2) actinic, and we are going to put in 2 175W MH bulbs as well. I have a 14K bulb that I had in the one right now and she really likes the color. She is worried about the right light spectrum for clams though so she is looking at either using the 6500 or 10k. The clams she has right now are a Derasa and a Squamosa. She wants to see how these do before deciding if she wants to try a Maxima. Which bulb rating would you recommend?

Either Iwasaki 65's or 10k bulbs are fine. I like the 10 k's best.

The 10K is what I run on my tank. She just wanted some more opinions.

I think the USHIO 10000K bulb would be the best. A perfect crisp WHITE.
