Would it hurt to put the entire jar of Phosban in a media bag and put it in the middle chamber of my 29 biocube.

I don't think it would hurt anything but rinse it gently but very thoroughly or your tank will turn brown.

I think that would leach too much iron for a 29g, what size jar is it?

It's the 150g

it won't leach iron when used correctly. If that's going to happen it will be a result of how it is placed and the flow going through it so it probably wouldn't matter whether you use a full jar or 1/4 jar. By that logic, using more would probably be better because the larger volume would slow the flow through it. A small amount would be more likely to get ground into powder.

Most people start out with 1/2 the suggested dose. Monitor your Alkalinity closely, as it can cause a drop.

Way too much. 150 grams is good for a much larger system. I would start out with 1/4 or less and work up to maybe 75 grams maximum over time. If you add it all you run the risk of bleaching corals.
