I love my older ACII that I bought used about a year ago. I also like the fact that with the X10s, I can control equipment at the tank and in the basement (where the sump is).
I have found the X10 modules are a little sketchy with two of my four T5 ballasts. I didn't realize that I can use the DC4/8 with my older ACII until this weekend (doh!). I would make a suggestion that Neptune state on their website that the DC4/8 works with the ACII...for us slow people. :D
