When I first started the controller, I was getting a log just fine. It's set for an entry every hour.
Suddenly the log is empty the last few times I checked.
Any thoughts?

Is it possible that you have lost power in the last hour before checking the log?

No, I've checked several times and it reads log empty. Is there some command that could cause this?

There is a command in the menu to reset the log, any chance you rest by mistake?

Anything is possible but I don't think so, not a few times.
I am getting a log now so let's see what happens.
Thanks

How have you determined logs are missing? Are you using AquaNotes or are you accessing the logs from the menu on the AC Jr?

The logs also get cleared any time that you change the time on the controller. You might want to make sure that your logging rate (every 30 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.) is not set for some very large number.

Hmm, that's interesting, I wonder if changing the leap seconds has the same effect.

ken, I'm accessing the log from the AC Jr.
bryan, That's a good question. I have been changing the leap seconds in an effort to sync the time.
tech, I have changed the time, as I am trying to sync the AC Jr to real time and the logging rate is every 60 min.
So I guess that answers my question.
Thanks.

I tested on an AC3 and changing leap-seconds does not erase the logs, but changing the time does clear the logs.
