My new 96 is 36x24x24h. I moved everything over from my 50 (30x18x20). I am currently running a 400w PFO HQI ballast with a SE Helios 20K bulb in a PFO reflector. I love the color, but it is not as bright as it was over the 50. Would adding another 400w setup be to much light or should I try a different reflector like a Lumenarc III. I keep SPS, Clams, and zoo currently. I want to look into some lords and other bright LPS for the bottom.

Also with my current setup I can't run other supplemental lights due to no canopy and it a rimless tank.

I would try a l3 stealth, I have the same dims on my tank and I was amazed at how well the l3 with a single bulb covered the tank. I was really torn between a single l3 or two mini's for some time cause I couldnt really tell the difference when I tested them out...
