I have a 180 gallon reef- It is 2.5 years old. I have 1 yellow tang (3 inches) 5 reef chromis, 1 CBB, 1 harlequin tusk and a foxface...I want to add a sailfin but am worried that the 2 tangs will fight.

what are your thoughts on adding this sailfin ( 2 inches )

i had 5ft tank with a sailfin and added a yellow and as soon as i dropped in the yellow they started doing a dance . It lasted for about a half hr and nother ever came of it. They both did fine. At one point i even had a hippo tang in there for a little while and they all got along.I think it might depend on the fish.
Ive heard that the sailfin isnt as aggressive as most tangs, even the yellow.Just keep an eye on the yellow tang's tail if they get violent , that little spike can do alotta damage.

Yes I had a yellow and a powder blue together for a year before I dumped in a sail fin, the powder was dominate for a couple of months then the yellow for another month, now the sail fin runs the roost.

I think they would be fine, I have them both and they seem to handle each other well.
