I can't find any vendors that have them in stock right now. What gives? Anyone know?

Salifert used to be a RC sponsor. They had awesome customer support, if you wanted to contact them you did so through RC.

Now after many month of bad test kits, no customer service, no replacement, Salifert is no longer a sponsor and as far as I understand it turned off customer support.

IMO Salifert has been dead for months and is just selling the remainder of the left over stock.... even if its defective.

I'm trying Elos. It's a shame about Salifert....

For KH, I switched to API. They work good, are simple to use, and are very inexpensive. $5.50 @ Dr F&S.

I just received my Elos KH kit. I'm *very* impressed -- single reagent, simple process (no tables to cross-reference measurements on), very clear trigger point, and certified reagents. The only place Salifert is superior is in granularity; the Elos kit resolves in whole-number values of Kh, where the Salifert kit provided fractional values.

I'm very impressed and plan on switching all my core tests kits (KH, Ca, Mg, pH) to Elos.

Had same issues with Salifert, & have since switched over to Elos kits. Elos kits are awesome imo. Got them from Marine Depot.

It has been very good so far.
It is available at MarineDepot.
