......I've got one in a seperated section of my tank, he seems happy.

Is there anyway in the world he could be free in my tank??? It's sealed up, the overflow has foam covering, would he just eat everything in site? He's very small (giant octopus i think)

I got him prior to realizing I wanted a reef tank.

I really wouldnt trust him especially a giant octopus!

You could always set up another tank for him.
If you set him free hes probably going to destroy your tank.

....its sad....

I figure when hes large i'd sell him off.

I was hoping for a year or so he coudl be free. idk. perhaps not.

Can any kind of octopus be free?

....i almost rephrased for this reason... lol

It was a free specimen as it didn't have a home. I just took it in.
