Pairing Ocellaris and True perc?

Like the subject says, I'm looking to get another clown to pair with my current. I have a juvenile Ocellaris Clown, had him for about 2 1/2 months, and was thinking of pairing him with a True Perc. Since they are in the same family would this be a wise move? I would get a smaller clown than my current (he's still quite small, about 1"). What are the chances they would mate and what about long term compatibility?

They can pair and can mate. Their offspring are nicknamed Percilaris. Be sure if you sell the babies, they are sold as a hybrid.

They range from looking like one parent to the other. Some look like Percs with the dark bands, some look like O's. Nothing too spectacular.
