Hi all, what are the difference between the regular silicon glue and aquarium safe ones?

I went into my home depot here and they don't have any (as they claim), and wondering whether it can be replaced by something else?

I am in the process of building a very simple sump, just need the glue to put together the baffles.

Thanks!
Chris

You can buy silicone at your lfs. I am curious if the stuff from the hard ware store works though. I have a tube that I want to use on my aquarium. It sais it is 100% silicone, but then it sais not for aquarium use.
