I'm sorry to bother you guys with this.

Is there any other way to Isolate the Na+ out of NaOH other than a dow's cell?

I dont mind using my downs for the process but it requires some serious amperage and the cathode and anode vaporize the solution and bring the temperature above what I am comfortable dealing with as far as the effluent H gas.

I am currently running the voltage at 7.65V DC and am using appx 1000A of current. I am not sure about the amperage I burned my shunt and am waiting for a new one.

Any tips on changing the cell LMK

I don't think Reef Central wants to be involved with creating metallic sodium. That's a dangerous process, if I understand what you're asking.
