I keep reading different suggestions. Where is the best placement for these corals? Thanks!

I have a 90 gal with 800 watts of 15K MH lighting. I have the purple polyp ORA and it is all the way on the top of the rock work about a foot below the bulbs. Seems happy there. Good color and growth.

I should maybe give my lighting specs: 6 54w T5s in a 75 gallon tank.

I have one at the bottom, one about midway up, they look identical still. From what I have found, you can keep most birdsnests anywhere.

My opinion is to keep it out of high flow. Mine does better with less flow blowing toward it. I have mine about 1/3 off the bottom of a 90 gallon tank under a 250W Phoenix bulb with VHOs.

I agree, any of the really "fuzzy" ones like these seem to do best out of high flow.

Yeah I agree I've always placed mine out of direct flow and mid to low in the tank.

Mine is completely white polyps is the light too bright? Seems to do better when it was in a dimmer position..

Alright I moved mine out of high flow area and moved in a lower flow area of the tank. thanks everyone we'll see how it does.
