Longspine Urchins

Just curious if anyone has tried or successfully breed any of the urchins? Or had any info on the subject.

I have heard that the addition of potassium permanganate will induce urchins to spawn.

It's commonly done in developmental biology classes. Usually either electrodes or potassium chloride is used to stimulate spawning. Large temperature swings will also trigger spawning. IIRC Martin Moe was doing some work on Diadema in the keys.
