I am adding to my main 30gal tank, so that I can keep more SpS without having to worry about doing as many water changes. So, I am adding a 30 gal refugium next to it in my closet. It is different than most setups because the main tank will be the bottom tank and the sump/refuge will be the top tank.

Im going to drill one hole in the refuge and will have a single small pump feed it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Should work. What is that one the right hand side of your tank?

its my auto top off reserve. I know that the top off float switch needs to be in the bottom tank to work properly, so I should be okay just leaving it where it is.

Not the reservoir, I'm not sure if it is an anemone or what that is inside the tank on the right.
