I've been to 2 local Home Depots with no luck.Literally tons of calcium chloride,no mag chloride.Figures
I might make the trip to Patchogue if I can confirm they have it.

Scott - have you started using the stuff from twopartsolution.com? I have been using it for a week or two now without any problems.....still trying to dial in the proper drip rate with my dosing system.

Because it's made by Dow Chemical, do a search and find a Dow wholesaler near you that sell's to the regional farm/supply stores. Contact them and they can tell you who they sell this to in your area. I had to do this, this summer, couple of phone calls later and I had it. Turned out to be about 15 miles away.

Fio, I stopped by the Home Depot in Patchogue today and they had about 10 bags of mag flake.

Chris, i have started using the two part, i've been doing 3 pumps of each every morning, but i'm still trying to get my calcium up so i've been testing and adjusting in the afternoon. I'm hoping once i get my numbers were they should be the 3 ounces of each daily will be good because i'm also topping off with kalk.

Thank you for looking for me.
I was planning on making 3 individual mixing/dosing systems in addition to limewater.
Since I upgraded my lighting I decided to go mainly sps and now limewater can't keep up with the demand.
I'm starting to rethink the idea and I might go with a calcium reactor instead.Seams to be much more automatic and hands off.
I wish I had some experience with them though.A little bit confusing.I have to do my homework on them before I decided
which way to go.

i think that is only the dow flake(CaCl) , not the mag flake(MgCl)

Its not Dow so I think I'm just going to use it to melt ice!Not worth the risk.
