DIY fuge

Has any one ever made a DIY fuge out of a aquaclear filter

Yes. I used a aquaclear 110.

does it work good does it have cheto in it

Yes it has worked fine with the return flow turned down to the lowest setting. I have cheato in it, pods, sand and snails. I had a rectangle hole cut out of the lid and used this light.

I was thinking of doing the same with mine.
I'm unsure about some things and how they would fit.
Can someone post a picture of their aquaclear transformed into a fuge? I need some ideas.
