Here are some pictures from Costa Rica. I spent 3 months there in Fall of 2006.

These were in the Caribbean:

My apologies on the lack of post-processing; I had most of them done, but lost the CD the post-processed files were on during a move.

Enjoy!

Just a couple; sorry about the quality; after about 5 minutes, our teacher started feeding the fish bread...

Thanks Tom-
The color in the photo doesn't even begin to show how brilliant the blue was. I took about 35-40 pictures of that fish alone, just trying to get a sharp one. Does anyone have an ID on it?

Edit: After looking on eTropicals, it looks like a Jewel Damselfish (http://www.etropicals.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?siteid=41&pCatId=1244), but my picture seems to show blue spots on blue...

It is gorgeous and seems to have the shape of a dwarf angle. I wonder if it is a juvenile morph. I would like to see some of the other pictures so we can see more of the body shape. Thanks for sharing.

I'll look through the pictures I have and try to find another few to post of the blue fish; most of them are not sharp at all; that fish did not stay in one spot very long! :)

Unfortunately, these are the next best shots that I have.

No, the Pacific side was more of a rocky reef site. The water was not as clear as the Caribbean side, and the spot we dove at was deeper; about 12-18 feet (it varied). We did see lots of soft corals; let me find some pictures...
