Peppermint shrimp eating stars

I just found that my peppermint shrimp removed an asterina start from the glass and went into the rockwork with it.

Is it common?

:D I've seen mine do it a time or two. I've never seen mine eat anything off of them before though. They'll pick away at it for 15-30 seconds and then let it go. In any case I've never seen mine do it all that often.

Stars are like tribbles(Star Trek). Nice little critters till a few flip out and eat your SPS. I manually removed over 200 of these buggers in three days after the munched a green stynophoria. I still find a few eating the low light areas around the base in the larger colonies. Bought a harlequin to eat the rest.
