hello all - hoping someone can help me ID this fish (took the shot in a LFS recently).

I assume it may be a juvenile of a common species... I don't have any images that match up.

Its a female Iridio Garnoti. Nice fish and a great pic of it!

you are correct. It is a juvenile Yellowhead Wrasse (Halichoeres garnoti). From my reference (Caribbean Reef Fishes by J. E. Randall) it grows to about 7.5 inches and its range is listed as the tropical western Atlantic.
