I just set up my Current 1/3HP chiller and set the tank temp to 79 degrees. I plugged in the heater to the rear of the chiller as per the direction. The heat light comes on when the temp drops below 79 degrees and indicates the heater is working. Today the temp read out on the chiller indicates 81 degrees and the "cool" light has not come on yet! The directions state there is a 2 degree +/-.....So, isn't 81 degrees over the limit and shouldn't the chiller kick on? HELP!
Tank is a 46g Bow Front with an over box. I'm using a Blue Line 40HD to run the entire system including through the chiller. The tank fills up and the over flow box runs strong. I'm sure the gpm is 5-15 and flow rate is at least 500gph. So, anyone have any ideas?
