I currently have a DSB comprised of 250lbs of HomeDepot Playsand seeded with a 20lb bag of Live sand from the LFS. Were as I do not hate the playsand after 2 years its color and tendency to spread through the whole tank ( very fine particles and my goby likes to carry it up into the Vortecs flow lol)
Now I am going to be moving and have the chance to change it out. heres the question. I remeber a thread a bit ago talking about using crushed limestone from HD.
Will this be as fine and blow all over the place also?
In addition does anyone have any pictures to help me judge its color under lighting? I was hopping for something whiter than the playsand.
