I am in the process of setting up a 20"x20"x20" cube. It will have SPS only. What would you guys recommend on lighting. I have narrowed it down to a single 150w or 250w 14k MH. I am looking at the Current Sunpod since it would be a direct fit and also has LED's.

The 150w has an internal electronic ballast where the 250w has an external magnetic ballast.

What will the heat difference be between 150w and 250w? Will it even be noticeable?

Thanks in advance.

I have a cube w/the same measurements and also went 250. I do have to use a chiller in the summer because of the heat. My clams and corals do grow well.

Yeah 250w here. I've got a 250w on my 24"x24"x24"

I would throw in the iwasaki 175w 14k into the mix, its a great bulb with lots of light, and it dosnt really need supplementation.
lumenarc mini or a lumenbrigth should work really well for you.
