What is this on my foxface

Well the other day my foxface had some type of white stuff coming off of him. Never seen or heard of this before anyone know what this is about ? What it is ?

yeah well unless I can borrow your time machine and go back into time to see it again I dont think ill be able to get pics lol ;) Its like a white slime

The first time mine did it I nearly paniced. It is indeed his slime coat but it is relatively normal and should subside the longer he remains in the tank. Ive had mine for quite some time now and he rarely if ever sheds his slime. Used to be a regular occurrance when I first got him.

I was kinda wondering what that stuff was also. I only had my Foxface for 4 weeks, and I never seen the stuff come off of him, just floating in my tank.

It all makes since now.

It had been a regular occurance for quite some time, I never noticed any effect on the fish or corals, so I would'nt be worried.
