I purchased one of these a few weeks ago and it has been working fine until last week. I took it apart to clean it after the collection cup starting filling up and when i pluged it back up my tank flooded with microbubbles. In the frothing part of the skimmer it is literally filled with microbubbles, when I first started it 2 weeks ago it only did this from the center up. Is there anything that I can do to fix this? Any fixes or secrets? I already have an extra peice of honeycombed fiber in the bubble diffuser. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tried turning it back on every day but it keeps on doing this and I dont want to leave it on because it literally covers my tank in seconds.

Just let it run and break back in. After it breaks back in the micro-bubbles will decrease and it will began skimming again.

Well the thing is that I let it run for a day and it was still doing it.

It may take more than a day to break back in.....

Will I have to do this every time I clean it, also is it bad for the fish for the tank to be filled with those microbubbles.
