I'm looking for inexpensive, not cheap, soleniod shut valves.I've been using float valves but I just don't trust them.Maybe I'll continue to use them as an emergency back up in case the soleniod should fail.
What kind and where is a good place to purchase?
Thanks.

autotopoff.com there $35 shipped and is reliable with an electronic float valve.

Give stc valve a call. Their web site is stcvalve.com. Much higher quality at nearly half the cost.

Using STC valve model 2P025-1/4-d 12vdc for 2 years no issues. You will need an ac to dc adaptor.

Their shipping is fast and actual cost. I usually second day for $11 10 at a time.
