I have a big wall elegance about 7" long. I place him on the sand bed, but my 6" clam is right above it expanding its lip. Will the elegance tentacles sting my clam?
thanks

I would think so.

Yep, I'd think so.

I agree. I have seen clams withdraw their mantel in the area that is exposed to an Elegance.

I have had a bad expierence already. I recommend moving the clam or elegance.

I have and aussie wall frogspawn and a maxima. The frogspawn caused the maxima to withdraw part of it's mantle. Once separated the mantle of the maxima came back in 2 days. I didn't damage the maxima but if given a little more time it might have. I know you have an elegance but the clam will probably respond in a similar manner. I'd put a little room between the 2.
