I would like to know if it would be better for me to get a couple more females for my male Hooded wrasse since he seems to torment the lone female mercilessly? I have 2 females for my Lineatus and the male seems a lot more calm then the Hooded, I'm asking because my male Flame, Balteatus, and Pylei does well with just one female a piece.

female is most likely trying to turn into a male so the dominant male is making sure it doesn't change. You could add a few more females to maybe get him to stop but there is no guarantee it will.
