Can I cut it off

I got some Zoa's on a tile with a small mushroom. I do not like the tile. Can I cut them off with a sharp knife and glue them on to a small rock?

If so how, Do I do it under water or can they be out of the water for a short time?

In time they will completely cover that piece of tile but if you really want to remove them and re-glue them then yes you can.

I would like to get the mushroom away from the Zoa, How hardy are mushrooms if I try to move it to another rock?

Its been said that you can take a mushroom and throw it in a blender, chopping it up into little pieces. Then dump the pieces in your tank and have tons of small mushrooms pop up everywhere. Now Id say this is a bit of a farse but you get the idea, there very hardy.
