best scrapper for acrylic tank

I have to do some serious cleaning.The purple has taken over the bottom part of my tank.I have a kent extended scrapper but it just will not cut the heavy build up

with work the way it was I just couldn`t keep up for a while but now I need to get it back in shape and cleaned off

My LFS will give me scraps of acrylic from tanks that they have built. They are 3/8" acrylic usually about 12-15" long and 4-6" wide. They cut down both ends to a 90 degree angle with a saw. I then use it as a scraper. It is very sturdy and works better than the kent for the heavy coraline build up. I would check with a store in your area that works with acrylic. If you can't find any let me know and I would gladly mail you a few pieces if you want to try it.
