I was originally going to have a seperate fuge, but I'm not going to be able to get a hole drilled in it anymore. I have an Oceanic Reef Ready premade sump. I added a baffle to keep the skimmer section at the same depth. That leaves me with a section of about 15" wide and 14" deep, with around 8.5" high. I was going to fill it with LR, but now I have a problem (the no drill part). How can I get the most out of that area. I'm going to have to section part of it off to make the fuge, but I'm not sure how to slow the water down.

IF I understand correctly... you have one section for your skimmer. Then you have one big section. So put another baffle (with teeth if possible) and make it a total of 3 sections. Make the middle one your return section. Now split your drain with a T and ball valve to slow flow to the fuge section. More water will drain to the skimmer section. Now you have higher flow in the skimmer and lower flow in the fuge. They both feed to the return in the middle.
