i had this happen before and i did hypo and 6 week fallow display. i started buying coral in November and all the sudden my Purple tang has spots. Darnit. i am going to do the hypo and tear the whole tank apart and start a new quarantine procedure where nothing goes in the display without 6 weeks in a fallow tank. anyways i have a spotted mandarin an i was wondering if i should maybe leave him in the display so he can continue to eat the pods, i think i remember they do not get ick, is this a bad idea, i need advice. while i am at it, i also have engineer goby, 4 chromis, maroon clown, YT, jewel damsel, 3 pajama cardinals.
should they all be removed and hypo?

Sounds like a headache, indeed.
I would be moving the fish into QT. The problem is with the mandarin which needs its live diet...and if you needed to seriously treat the QT, that fish would not be able to handle anything aggressive.
