reefhead165,

Thank you for your question. Large Angelfish are considered reef compatible with caution. They will more than likely nip at stony and soft corals. Unfortunately, we cannot say one species would nip at your corals more or less than the other. Each fish is different, it will depend on their individual temperament. We recommend close monitoring of either the Blue Face Angelfish or the Imperator Angelfish if adding to an aquarium with coral.

About a year ago I got a juvi blue face from Diver's Den, still is doing great.

When I first got him/her I had mainly mushrooms and BTAs in my tank, s/he never touched them. Now the tank is pretty much all SPS, a Haddoni carpet anemone, and a clam -- none have been picked on. However, zoas don't last more then a couple seconds in there.

When I first got him/her (( a little beat up from my Lemonpeel that I sold shortly afterwards ))
