This is my 140g tank that is only 2 months old after being transfered from a 4 year old 50g. It still needs alot of work like a new skimmer and a light that at least covers the whole tank but need to gather a little more chedder first. The rusty angel, saifin tang, tomato clown, purple psuedo, blue w/yellow tail damsel and 4 stripe damsel all came over from my 50g along with a bunch of corals and 50lbs of live rock. New additions are my yellow dwarf angel, snowflake eel, blue hippo, chromis and lunar wrasse. Any suggestions are welcome as well as fish to be added. I am going to add 3 more and am leaning towards a bicolor goatfish, a humu humu or blue jaw, and some type of puffer(probably a blue spot toby).

looks nice. nice picture of the chromis. I would be careful with adding a humu humu. it could make a meal out of your chromis and damsel. s this a 72" tank?

Yes it is 72". I only have a 4 foot pc light on it so it looks shorter. Transfered the light from my 50g and haven't upgraded. Probably will next weekend.
I kind of agree about the humu but I figure if I keep him well fed I might get away with it but then again might not. I like the blue jaws but they do seem to be a little shy. I got enough of those already.

I think its a toss up about the Humu and the chromis. I have had my Humu for about 4 months with 4 chromis and they all follow him around like they are buddies . Its kinda funny to watch

How big is your humu humu? Chromis are pretty fast and elusive so the humu would have to work for it and if you are feeding him well he may not be interested in the work. Just a guess.

If my porcupine puffer can catch them. A trigger easily can. Everything sleeps.

I know some blue throats can be shy...but all ive seen are puppy dogs. I know mine are. They love to beg for food alllll day long. And will eat from my hand. They took maybe two months to trust me. JMO, they are great fish, give them a try and see..good luck and great looking tank. love the sailfin tang!!!

I think I might go with a blue throat after all. I like the mixture of small fish with big fish so if the humu humu is going to eat the small ones I won't do it. If I wasn't such a miser I would get a crosshatch but can't cough up the green for that one.
If you look at my sailfin in the picture with the yellow angel you can see a couple of patches on his body. He got those in my 50g and I think it was either from not growing right in too small a tank or he scratched himself real bad on the rocks. Either way he outgrew the 50g and I could tell he wasn't very happy anymore. He was in there for 3 years. Has anybody else had a big fish grow weird in a small tank? Just curious.
