Bubbles and foam

Sorry to bring up the sump again But I have a foam building up in the sock at the botom where the water runs in IS that ok?

Also I read air bubbles are not good so Where the water goes into the overlfow In the tank (hob overflow) it has bubbles going throught the u tube not alot but some is that ok?
I see when the water pours into the plastic overlfow in the tank it has bubbles like running water

If the foam is only in the filer sock, it's OK. As for air bubbles going into the overflow, it's alright as long as they aren't building up in the u-tube. If they are, they can build up and cause the flow to slow down or stop. This can cause your tank to overflow.
