should I feed my refugium by...

1. splitting my return line

2.splitting my overflowline

and where should my refugium drain into?

1. return pump chamber

2. main sump chamber with skimmer

Also, my refugium will be separate if you havent guessed by now.

If it was me. I would feed the fuge from the overflow and have it drain into the return section. That way the pods have a much better chance of making though the return pump and not getting caught in the skimmer.

that was what i was leaning toward but iam not sure how to split the single 1" overflow into about 75/25 split.

Just put a T in the line with the lower line going to the fuge with a valve on it. Most water will want to come out the lower end of the T, the valve will cause the water to back up and start going out the side of the T to go into the main sump.
