I'm setting up my 110G (48x18x30") in march and still wonder how I'll set-up the rockwork.

Currently have a 50G made mostly of baserock so I need some idea.

Here's my current tank, 1 month ago:

I have a tall tank and I made a rock platform that raises all the live rock off ths DSB 3-5 inches. It only contacts the sand surface in 3 spots. I got the idea and plans for it from GARF DIY rocks. I like it alot. It makes a lot more open area for sand critters to crawl around on. Creates a huge area for shy or new fish to hide. Lets nocturnal critters hide from the light and remain visable to me. Alows for more water flow. And it raises my corals closer to the light.

I doubt that this will help much but this was my 110 FOWLR tank.

Not helping much but fun to see that my 110G will be quite high with a 40" high stand lol

I would make pillars out of your liverock by drilling the rock and putting PVC in to support it. I planned on doing that with my 360g tank that is 36" tall. Sorry I don't have a pic of it besides being empty, haha.
