48" fixture on 60" canopy

i was planning just to hang my 48" fixture in my new 60" canopy has anyone done something like this before should i run into any issues? anyone got pictures of what theirs look like

No problem. Should work fine. Coverage should be okay.

I would think that all you would lose is the coverage on the very ends.

i use a 48" fixture on a 72" tank and havent run into any big problems. i just put lower light corals,mushrooms and zoos and such, on the outside. you should be fine with your setup.
