In the market for an RO/DI unit. I rent right now but am buying within a couple of months, so I'd like to find something that has a faucet attachment in addition to the permanent option.

Because I don't currently have a ginormous tank, a small 24 or 50 gpd unit should be sufficient.

Anyone have an opinion on reasonably priced RO/DI units? What's your preference and is there much of a difference between brands?

Any of the RC RO vendors should be able to set you up with a good system.

Most systems come with a hose bib adapter so you just add a faucet adapter to fit your faucet which you can get either online from the vendor or at most hardware stores. I would stick with a 75 GPD system, the cost is usually the same as a lower production rate system, the physical size is the same and they make water 50 to 200% faster so your faucet isn't tied up for two days making water. 24 hours is a long time to wait for a few gallons of water.

Check out the places AZ said. I also think you should go with a 75GPD unit dew to there only a few $ more.
