elegance and acan lord

will they sting each other? Im afraid of the elegance getting too big and hitting the acan.

Any coral that has nemocysts will sting each other. Then is just a matter of who will win the battle. But short answer simple, yes they can/will sting each other. This is why you need to reseach prior to purchasing a speficic species, see how large an full grown colony can get (in this case, check on the elegance since acans can take up alot of realestate) and keep the two sufficently located apart from one another.

the elegance coral has the longer reach then the lord--so I would keep the elegance six inches away from any coral on on the substrate--they do move and have delicate tissue that can easilly be scraped.

I cleared out all of the corals around the elegance. It opens up to about 14 inches . Its huge. Does anyone know how much flow it can handle?
