Hello, just a quick question. Is Kent Calcium supplement suppose to be white milky color or clear like water? I just notice tonight while I dosed that it was in milky color and I don't know if calcium precipitate or it's just that color. I always think it is clear. I don't have new bottle to confirm. Please help.

I haven't used that product. I make my own calcium chloride product, which is clear except for some precipitate. You could try adding some RO/DI water before dosing, to see whether more dissolves.

i guess i never notice it until last couple days. I always buy the 64 oz bottle and pour it to a smaller bottle. Everytime I pour I always think that it's clear. My salifert test kit has been off lately and I haven't have a chance to get a new one so I don't know the exact the calcium level but the tank still looks good.

I shaked the bottle and pour it in to a glas and there a lot of white particles and very cloudy.. Bertoni, I tried mixing it to RO and it's clearer but still cloudy not crystal clear. I guess I will have to buy a new bottle from lfs to double check it tmrw. Things just aren't going well for me lately.

Turbo boost CA and 2LF bionic work great too.

It might just be some harmless precipitate. I might just use it anyway, although maybe not.

I bought a new bottle and I checked it yesterday. it was crystal clear. I called kent today and he's going to send me a replacement. He said it might be an old batch. I don't think i'm going to use the old stuff as it might harm the pump .. who know..

Old wouldn't explain it, but it sounds nice. It is likely a contaminated batch. :D
