i have these worm-like creatures all over my glass. They are clear, look like the startrek symbol (elongated), clearish brown, and move slowly. I just noticed them today while i was checking out all the other pods on the glass. The tank has been setup for 4-5 weeks and only has 5 mexican turbo snails, 2 sand sifting conchs, and 25 blue legged hermits.

i looked at those pictures and they look similar to this Cirolanid Isopod. If they feed on fish, how are they surviving since there has'nt been any fish in the aquarium. I still dont know if thats exactly what they are.

They can survive on other food sources but will kill fish,if thats what they are.

Also side note.If its a 90 gallon and you have only 2 koralia #4's you need to increase.Double atleast.

Low flow increases algea growth and in time will increase nitrates untill you cant control.

The LR and LS will convert nitrate and ammonia into harmless nitrogen but if flow is low the it will only cause them.It takes time as uneatin food , waste and other debris will collect in , on , around and under the rockwork and it could take months or yrs and by then you wont even consider the flow.Look here and GL.
