I have had these green ricordias for three months now. Since I got them they had these white sacs near them. What are they? Are they closed rics?

They appear to be sponges.

Yup. Sponges. The yellow ones I have are my favorite. They are great filter feeders.

Will they hurt my ricordias? Should I remove them?

They shouldn't but I would monitor them in terms of their growth. If they appear to growing on the ricordea, then I would consider removing them. Otherwise, they are a great asset to have.

Good Luck.

I have found alot of the ricordea that are coming in with multiple polyps on small pieces of rock to have these lately. I have about 4 pieces that have the smae type sponge growth on the rock, so far no issues with it.....
