Hi Scott,

Few quick questions...

1) I noticed you have a red dragon accessories page that isn't populated with any products. What do you recommend for covering the intake of the Mini Red Dragon pumps running submerged in a sump? Is there a foam cover included or sold separately? Should I just cut a piece of foam to cover the intake?

2) What does warranty service look like for these pumps? In the event of a failure, who would I send the pump to, and how long would it take to get it returned?

Thanks!

The parts are covers, screws and impellers... Right now we don't list them on the site but as time permits we may add them. For warranty work please contact us directly if the product was purchased from us.

I'm not sure what you are referring to on the foam part. Also it would best if you contacted us directly for questions like this.

Thank you,

Thanks Scott,

These were all pre-purchase questions, sorry if that wasn't clear.

I'm about to pull the trigger on an Infiniti and was thinking about swapping out my eheim for a red dragon as long as I was ordering an infiniti.

The sponge was to be used to keep the pump from pulling any large debris into the pump assembly. A filter if you will.

I'll call you to discuss this.

Thanks

Sounds good. That makes sense on your pump question now. This is probably going to have to be a DIY project. I never have used sponges for this. I just periodically clean the pump which needs to be done on any aquarium pump no matter the brand. Feel free to call me...

Thanks,
