Hello Everyone, Can some on help me please, as i just started a marine tank, 1 month ago, Can any one advise me on RO Water filters, Do they have to be working constantly as i only have a 305 ltr tank, How long can RO water be kept in plastic containers?

No, RO systems don't have to run all the time. You just turn them on when you need to make water and turn them off when your done. However it's best not to keep turning the system on & off. It's best to make larger amounts of water and flush the system before you turn it off.

And yes you can store RO water for some time. However some plastic containers do leach some stuff into the water stored. It's best to use a food grade container like the Brute cans.
