Umm... I've never seen a porcelain crab attack anything. However, I saw my Coral Banded Shrimp tear a porcelain crab into 9 tiny pieces. It was the beginning of a **** poor attitude swing.
I think porcelain crabs are filter feeders and friendly.
Of course, like I always say... there's a renegade in every species.
Well, I haven't seen a turbo take out a fish yet.

The porcelain in my tank only waves his claws when the fish get close. I think he lost one of them in a fight (we now call him lefty), but it grew back. It's surprising to see how big those claws are and know they're for defense.

I will never own another CBS. I loved him at first... he was a model citizen in my tank. But after about 8 months, he began terrorizing my tank. He took out all but one of 10 hawaiin zebra hermits I added to my tank in about 2 days. He began coming to the top of the LR with his arms out stretched and would grab at my fish as they swam by.
My psuedo made lunch of him after months of eyeing him. I think enough was finally enough. They are very pretty shrimp... but I won't own one again.
I think your porcelain is fine.

I have a porcelain and a CBS in my 55g reef for the past 2 years. Both of them behave and have been model citizens. I do also feed them shrimp every other day to keep every one happy.
